Part III – Santorini
While still in Adames, I checked Instagram and was filled with pride, when I saw three of our Molloy Lady Laxers, at the North South, All Star Game! GO LIONS!

After three amazing days on Milos, we got on another Ferry and headed two and a half hours south and east, to Santorini.
Santorini is famous for its scenery and specifically, the sunsets. As a result of this fame, it is loaded with tourists. As we approached the town of Oia, where our Air BnB was located, I was concerned that our unit would not be as advertised, and we would have to go elsewhere to view the sunset. That turned out, not to be the case, and if anything, our view of the sunset from the hot tub outside our apartment, was better than advertised!
I am not sure the photos, do the sunset justice, but it certainly was captivating and stunning. On our second day on Santorini, we got a later than hoped for start, on a hike to Fira, which is the other main town on Santorini and is more than five miles away. The views along the trail from Oia to Fira, are nothing short of spectacular! We only made it about two thirds of the way to Fira, before we turned around and headed back to Oia. It was already the middle of the day and very hot – and we were hungry and needed more water. It was as beautiful as any hike I can remember.
We also continued eating incredibly delicious food! Everything we sampled on Santorini, was amazing!

We covered a lot of ground in our two days on Santoriini and with the wonderful weather providing nothing but clear skies, we were treated to a second stunning sunset!
