The NCAA Selection Show aired last night at 8:30, on NCAA.com. I spent all day finding different ways to kill time, until that time, when the Lady Lakers would learn their fate. I went food shopping. I worked on (and actually finished) the Crossword Puzzle. Debi and I completed our Passport Renewal applications (I will head to the Post Office to mail them, as soon as this entry is done), this included getting photos taken at CVS. Karl and I watched some of the Stanley Cup Playoff game between the Blues and the Stars. After much internal debate, I decided to watch or at least keep track of the PSAC Final between West Chester and East Stroudsburg, which was won by West Chester, 13-9. It was a pretty busy day, for a rainy Sunday, and yet the time seemed to drag on. At one point, I wandered outside and found that Lettuce has begun grow – I guess you don’t have to plant it every year!

At 8:25, Karl hooked the computer up to the television and we anxiously tuned in to the NCAA Selection Show. Simultaneously, the Lady Lakers were gathered at “The Stone” to watch together. When it was revealed that they would be the #3 Seed in the Atlantic Region, I felt good, knowing that there will be at least one more game for #11 and the rest of the 2019 Mercyhurst Women’s Lacrosse Team!
So, now it is back to West Chester where they will take on #2 Seeded, East Stroudsburg, on Friday, for the third time in a month. A victory on Friday will put the Lakers in the Regional Final on Sunday! Sunday is also Graduation Day for Mercyhurst. I hope we have to miss it!
They are still “All In” and “Not Done Yet”!
